COMMERCIAL SNOW & ICE MANAGEMENT
Our winter strategy starts before the snow does.
Highlands takes a brine-first approach to commercial snow and ice management so we can manage winter weather proactively rather than simply react after snow and ice have accumulated. When conditions are appropriate, liquid brine is applied ahead of the storm to help prevent snow and ice from bonding tightly to pavement — making subsequent clearing more effective.
Precise pretreatment also helps us use deicing materials more efficiently, reducing the need for heavier applications of granular salt and limiting unnecessary exposure to pavement, landscaping and surrounding surfaces.
Treatment you can document. Our application equipment uses GPS-based tracking to document where treatments are applied, giving property managers greater transparency, more consistent application and a detailed service record for the properties we maintain.
Brine is one part of a complete site-specific winter plan. We coordinate pretreatment with plowing, sidewalk clearing and targeted deicing based on the property and the storm.
